First Things First
The process of adopting is a BIG choice for your family. Please do your research, and we are here to answer any questions you might have. Don't hesitate to call!
1. Browse our site! The site will provide you with lots of information on Goldendoodles and give you an idea of how your future Goldendoodle will look and behave!
2. Contact us by email or give us a call and discuss your needs, color and gender. If you decide to place a deposit we must speak over the phone. There is lots to think about before you make your commitment and we want to make sure our puppies are a good fit for you. You can then place a 300.00 deposit on your puppy. Deposits are nonrefundable, but we will transfer your money to our next litter if the timing does not work with your schedule. Puppies must be spayed or neutered.
3. Puppy pick day and pick up day will be scheduled. We will help you pick your puppy, as we truly know our puppies personalities. You will help pick your puppy based on your needs and wants. Things to consider include temperament, color, and sex.
4. We will fly a puppy to your destination with one of our puppy nannies. We will arrange for you to meet us at the airport. We will not ship a puppy in cargo!
Please feel free to video chat and look at our entire litter anytime. Look at how your puppy is being taken care of, and its living conditions. Of course, you are always welcome to meet our mom. All puppies sold by Goldendoodlelou leave us in outstanding health to the best of our ability and knowledge. Our puppies are born and raised in our home. We know the personalities of each one of our babies. All babies are accustomed to living in a home. Their health is our top priority and have been wormed several time and have been given their first round of puppy shots.
We require all puppies to be seen by your new vet within 48 hours of leaving our home to bind the Health Guarantee. If at that time a problem is found that is life threatening we need to be contacted immediately and we will retake ownership of the puppy and refund the purchase price of your puppy. (transportation cost/arrangements not included) Puppies must be spayed or neutered.
Additionally, if within the first 2 years your puppy develops a genetic disorder we reserve the right to have a 2nd opinion from a vet of our choice and if both vets agree we will refund your money for the purchase price of the puppy. (transportation cost/arrangements not included)
We want our buyers to be 100% happy with their new family member. With proper care (raised inside a home), high quality diet, and basic obedience training, your dog will have a gentle disposition, and sweet temperament. Goldendoodlelou cares about where our puppies live and with whom. If you find that you must rehome a puppy/dog you purchased from us, for any reason, we would gladly accept the puppy/dog back. Our puppies are generally very easy to care for, however it is important that you continue to feed your puppy a high quality puppy food, keep them current on vaccinations and monthly preventatives, and ensure their safety.
We test all of our dogs (using Paw Print Genetics) to make certain they do not carry common genetic conditions. We feed all of our dogs high quality food and give them lots of exercise and love.
